Those miscreants who cloned that sheep named "Dolly" a while back have obtained a cloning license applicable to human cells and tissues. Specifically, they're not allowed to clone babies:

"...clone cells from patients with the disease [that they're studying], derive stem cells from the resulting embryo, make them develop into nerve cells and compare their evolution to that of cells derived from healthy embryos."
